The Kimpton Taconic in Manchester has the most generous hotel policy I’ve ever seen. Everyone is welcome, from fur to feather, as long as they fit the lift! There are no limits on the size, weight, breed, or number of pets allowed, and there are no fees or charges. Just filter which is pet friendly when booking online and fill out the pet form during check out.

Kimpton Taconic is definitely the best place to manage your wallet. The room has snacks, games, treats, and an Orvis dog bed. (The flea market down the street is something to go with your dog). Dogs are allowed in the lobby and at the door of the hotel restaurant, on a leash. In the winter, they have heaters outside, make sure you and your kids stay warm. In addition, you can request pet services, such as pet sitting, dog walking and spa services by contacting the front desk.
The Vermont-Made Inn in downtown Burlington is a home away from home for you and your pets. Pet Policy This bed and breakfast accepts well-behaved pets for $25 per day. You can book directly online, do not forget to add your dog to the number of guests and specify the details in the notes.
We stayed in room 904, one of the larger rooms reserved for large dogs. It’s even nicer in Roscoe, and the bathroom is down the hall (although at least it’s private). The character of the night may not be for everyone, but it is in a good place in the country. The owner is very friendly and will provide recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Burlington.
