Top Dog Friendly Hotels On The Coast
Ashore Hotel allows cats, pot-bellied pigs, hamsters and more (as long as the owner can control and clean up after them).
This means that there are lots of dogs and children on the beach, which is not ideal if you have a reactive dog.
My favorite time to visit the beach and stay at the Ashore Hotel is weekdays from October to mid-April.
Temperatures typically range from 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the fall, winter, and early spring. When the sun goes down, it’s hotter than that.

Going to the ocean in the cooler months makes the days cooler with the chance of rain and wind, but I love watching the storms on the beach.
I have stayed with my dogs twice so far and plan to go back next summer. I might even go on an annual trip!
