The Vltava River runs through it and you can take a river cruise and admire the Gothic architecture. For those who prefer to look back in time, there are places like the Charles Bridge, which dates back to the 14th century.

Hello! My name is Ellie and I live in London. I’m currently studying journalism at university, I love writing and writing and I spend a lot of time going to shows in the West End. Traveling with kids Why to travel with kids, jet lag research, recommended travel products and ten travel tips. with children
In Paris with the family…the only day we had tickets, the Eiffel Tower was closed due to a strike, so we could only take pictures, not go to the Eiffel Tower or go up!
I recently returned from an almost two-week vacation in France with my family (my kids are 7, 5, and almost 3, and I was 31 weeks pregnant during the trip). We visited Paris and Provence in the south of France, which I thought sounded dreamy and magical and it was, but it was also exhausting and full of the same sibling squabbles and meltdowns we experienced back home (actually probably more So, because of the jet lag and out our daily life).
Travel Mishaps & How To Cope!
My husband and I love to travel and have been taking our kids with us since the first week we became parents. My first child came unexpectedly early while we were on vacation and even our trip from the hospital turned into a 6 hour drive. Since those early experiences, we haven’t shied away from long drives, flights, or complicated trips with our kids.
But there’s no denying that traveling with kids can be challenging, to say the least. Unfortunately, the research doesn’t give us much guidance (aside from a few studies on the delay of the clock hours), so today’s newsletter will include research and my personal experiences traveling with three children. This communication will include:
Many parents wonder before or after a trip whether it is worth traveling with their children. Research has revealed some of the benefits of family travel, including improved parental well-being and children’s skill development. Research also shows that travel is associated with improved family bonds and communication. However, these studies are correlational, meaning we don’t know if travel causes these positive outcomes or is simply related to them. Plus, if you can’t afford or don’t want to travel, you’ll probably get the same benefits from an “overnight stay” that includes quality family time in your hometown. Therefore, I recommend that families avoid traveling solely for the benefit of their children. It is only “worth it” if you as a parent have a real passion for travel and want to pass it on to your children, or you have other compelling reasons to travel (such as a family visit or an important trip). cultural experience.
Jet lag is the fatigue, trouble sleeping, and feeling “out of place” that occurs when traveling to another time zone. Experts say the number of days it takes to recover from jet lag is equivalent to 2/3 the number of time zones crossed (so we crossed 6 time zones on the way to France, meaning jet lag can take up to 4 days to recover from). .
If You Get Covid On A Family Vacation, Can Others In The Party Avoid Infection?
Research shows that jet lag seems to increase with age, suggesting that your children may have an easier time adjusting to it than adults (although studies haven’t directly compared adults and children). The lag seems to be worse when traveling east than west. This means, for example, that traveling from the United States to Europe is more difficult than traveling from Europe to the United States. Research on jet lag is limited and mostly involves adults, but research offers some suggestions to help:
As parents, many of us (myself included) deal with the expected anxiety of traveling with kids by buying products that we hope will make the trip easier. Of course you don’t know
