We stayed at the Hotel Port Royal, near Quebec Harbor and Old Quebec We didn’t use a car during our 3 day stay and it’s a very convenient location
The daily pet service fee is $25/day (which is a little strange since our room was considered unclean during our stay due to COVID. But we expect pet fees when traveling, so it takes a little effort to plan for them.
They have a coffee maker in their room Love to have a small kitchen with stove top and toaster It was very convenient because we brought our own breakfast and snacks, but especially Henry’s food was kept in the fridge and freezer.
Since we were on the first floor, we had our own patio where we could sit outside without the dogs bothering us. A great place to have breakfast and spend time together

The neighboring restaurant, Louis Tavern and Bar à One, is super cute and allows dogs on the patio (as long as they don’t bark).
In fact, many restaurants are dog-friendly By law, dogs are not allowed in the actual restaurant, but patios are generally dog-friendly But you always need to ask because you deny one place
Our 10-year-old Coton de Toller; While traveling with Lupo; We planned our day around how safe it would be for him to walk Needless to say, it was very hot all week
Our days were spent exploring new trails and places, and within hours of dinner, our dog stayed with Linda, the lovely pet we found in the rover looking after our kids. This was a big help for us as we couldn’t leave the dogs alone in the hotel room.

And La Bache, a popular Quebecois blockbuster We were able to sit on the patio and hold the dog I recommend asking before you go
For dessert or lunch, check out the Case-Croat Rocket There were several dogs hanging out on the patio when we visited

If you’re looking for a dog-friendly adventure while in Quebec, head to Parc de la Chateau Montmorency. This historic 83 meter high waterfall has become one of the tourist attractions of the region.
Walk across the suspension bridge for a while Now, I have bridge phobia and can’t get over it, especially since Henry (who doesn’t have a fear) and my parents say it’s great.
Where I like to walk Not just the falls, but the St. Lawrence River as well. We also took a cable car ride to see Île d’Orléans and Quebec City
Parc de la Chute Montmorency for a walk with your dog; It is a great place to explore and take photos But be sure to bring plenty of water for your dog, especially if you’re traveling in the summer We brought our own bottled water I love that it’s easy in a bag and can be worn on a belt (I’ll post the link below the poster.)
Fur Tastic Stay At W Montreal In Montreal, Canada
Chute Montmorency is about a 20 minute drive from our hotel After seeing the falls we headed to Ile D’Orleans, a foodie dream 15 minute drive from Chute Montmorency
I walked around the dog to keep him calm in the car We stopped for jam and ice cream at Tigido and chocolate at Chocolaterie de l’Orléans.

This was our first trip with Henry so we packed a lot Quebec City is a 3 hour drive and Henry loves to drive, so no worries. If your dog is not used to driving; You might consider a little practice before you go
