We stayed at Wheelwright Cottage, a wonderful property with a dog friendly terrace that is full of character and charm. There were many walks, beaches and towns to explore nearby and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the dogs. The villa accommodates 4 people and 2 dogs

Wheelwright Cottage is a lovely terraced cornice cottage There is ample parking for three cars outside but the spaces are shared with neighboring properties An open plan living and dining area greets you as you enter, complete with log burner Tiled floors line the entire basement, perfect for wiping muddy paws after autumn walk. I was also impressed by the stair gate that kept the dogs off the carpet when he got wet
Another staircase leads to the upper floor, originally intended for family use These are well thought out and blend seamlessly with the aesthetic of the cottage – not your average ugly metal gate! The villa sleeps 4 over two bedrooms, both upstairs The master bedroom includes a flat screen TV, king size bed and plenty of storage space for belongings and clothing.
We stayed in a double room when visiting with friends but there was plenty of room for me and the dogs I really liked the style of the room with beautiful shades of brown, green and blue Bathrooms are spacious and family friendly with rain showers, heated towel rails and a bathtub.
The kitchen is cozy but functional, with a microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. There are dog bowls available during your stay which is always handy as we forget to take Woody and the hen with us when we travel. Tea and coffee greeted us on arrival with gingerbread cookies from the local shop
The Ember Room Roundhouse
– The garden is fully fenced with a 6 meter fence My dogs are notorious escape artists but I am happy to share that none managed to wander off during our stay! A hot tub in the corner that is just the right temperature for evening relaxation and rest There is also a small shed at the end of the garden for guests to use It is large enough for a few bikes and any other outdoor gear you may want to take with you while you are away.
Court Farm Holidays has a range of facilities on site, including an outdoor playground, farmland and a swimming pool. Court Farm holidays are very family friendly with many activities, events and local attractions There are also many walks in the area More information on local dog trails and beaches can be found in the games room We recommend the Widemouth Bay walk which took about 45 minutes. Bay View Inn is a dog friendly place when you get there too!
Crackington Haven is a lovely village 9 miles from Court Farm Holiday The beach is dog friendly from 1st October to Easter Sunday each year and the views from the coastal path are spectacular If you are feeling adventurous we recommend climbing the High Cliff, Cornwall’s highest sea peak. Continue along the coast road to reach Boscastle The farm shop outside the village offers delicious local food all day This detached former workshop and log cabin has been tastefully renovated for a wonderful escape to nature with plenty of activities for adults and children.
