The living space is spacious. Escape the stress of life and enjoy a vacation with a dog. The staff are really friendly and helpful and what more could you want from a dog walk in the middle of the forest. We move every year.
Many places say they are dog friendly, but then they don’t allow you to leave your dog unattended on the property, which means it’s difficult or impossible to go shopping, have a romantic dinner for 2, or go anywhere without a dog. Other places require you to crate your dog when you go out unattended, which is great if they are crate trained, but not if they are afraid of crates! Some places that say they are dog friendly only allow one dog, only small dogs are allowed, only certain breeds are allowed – yes some places I have to give the breed and weight of the dog when I ask for a reservation. Jungle holidays are different. You can go without a dog, no crate required! They don’t care about their gender or weight! The cabins are separated so that if someone barks a little, no one else will be disturbed. They also allow up to 4 dogs in a pet friendly cabin! They charge each dog every night, which I think is expensive, but all the good T and C don’t worry about the other dogs, well worth the extra money to me. In addition, they have dog-friendly activities, litter boxes, and lots of walks from the front door and nearby, especially at Sherwood Place, but also at other locations. Dogs are also allowed in the shop/reception! We have already booked our next Jungle Holidays trip for 2021 as the cabin is the perfect social distancing holiday. Can’t wait to come back!
