Bali has become one of our favorite family travel destinations over the past few years. There’s a perfect mix of beach and culture, with everything from going to festivals (which seem to happen all the time) to exploring water parks to walking through rice fields.
The climate is warm throughout the year, although the rainy season (November to March) seems to be the same. The food is delicious and cheap. My 10 year old son’s favorite restaurant in the world is Jimbaran Beach Street.

We love the Gulf Coast because of its white sand, seashells, sunsets and seafood. But what makes it special is the location – the big beach and small crowds mean we have plenty of space to relax.
Gulf Shores is more than just a beach. We also enjoy hiking and biking in Gulf Coast National Park, catamaran day trips, kayaking, and snorkeling at local restaurants. It’s our home away from home – on the beach!
