Vacation Dog Sitting – Hello! I’m kimberly. I have a 4 and a half year old Australian Maltese named Snuffle. We have lived in Australia, traveled Europe, lived in the UK and stayed in many homestays. Snuffles is a playful and energetic ball that gets along well with any dog, but also holds his breath easily, so if your pup is calm and cool, Snuffles will naturally accompany him. He is curious, friendly and has never destroyed anything in his life. All in all, a very nice guy! I have experience working in a dog care center and I have had dogs since I was little. I love dogs and snuffles, so I’d love to come home to your pup while you’re away. I cook for snuffles, so I’ll cook for your pup if you want! .

Calls to landlines are also available at any time of the day. Please let me know how long I need to stay. However, I think an hour is the right amount of time to take your puppy out and feed him. Oral medications are fine for me if I need a puppy. If you wish, I will be happy to provide basic (tactical) training. There is no problem watering plants, delivering mail or attending to deliveries. If you need me to be at your house at a certain time, please let me know. Snuffles takes about 30 minutes to an hour to walk each time, or at least 30 minutes at the dog park. So, let us know what time you and your pup are comfortable. If I could live in your house, I would be there almost 24/7, except for the occasional weekend dinner. I’m very honest so you don’t have to worry about me crawling around your house etc. I have lived many times around the world and lived with colleagues etc so if you need any references please let me know. Feel free to chat anytime!

We are now accepting travel requests for March only! I live in a condo in Holland Hill. The apartment is about 1,500 square meters and Snuffles and I are the only people around. Because this house is not safe for children or dogs, we only accept friendly, house-trained, well-behaved dogs who do not break or chew things unnecessarily.

Burlington, Vermont, is one of the most dog-friendly places in New England. With wonderful outdoor walks and a lively, organized downtown, Burlington is a playground for dogs and friends. You’ll find plenty of fun things to do with your pup. Bike the Burlington Greenway along the shores of Lake Champlain and sample local brews at one of the city’s many dog-friendly breweries. Breweries in Burlington that allow dogs on their premises include Foam Brewers and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery. Places like Switchback Brewing Company also allow dogs inside. One of New England’s most popular (and pup-friendly) shopping centers, Church Street Marketplace is filled with dog-friendly restaurants and shops. With pet-friendly accommodations, Made in Vermont, a no-frills bed and breakfast just a short drive from downtown, offers the comfort of a home away from home for you and your dog.

When summer dog season hits, there’s no better place to spend time with your dog than Cape Cod. With miles of pristine beaches, irresistible charm, and countless outdoor activities, Cape Cod is the perfect summer destination for both people like for dogs. You’ll especially love visiting Cape Cod National Seashore. This sun-kissed sandy beach and trail will keep your dog grounded even in high season. Then quench your thirst at Provincetown Brewing Company. They’re very dog-friendly (and socially conscious), and there’s even a booth in the beer garden with a sign that says “We Bite Racists.” There are many pet-friendly accommodations in Cape Town. Pamper your dog at the upscale Chatham Birds Inn or go “riot” with him at the Nickerson State Park campground.

Cape Cod National Seashore is one of the many reasons to visit Cape Cod with your dog.

If you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation with your dog, look no further than Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Just eight miles south of Portland, it’s the perfect place to escape the daily grind without going too far. At the south end of Fort Williams State Park, home of Portland Head Lights, there is a large grassy area where dogs can run and play. Of course, you can’t visit Maine without trying the local lobster rolls. Bite into Maine has an outdoor food truck located in the park with pet-friendly picnic tables. Higgins Beach is a popular place for pups to play in the sand and splash in the water. After a day of fun in the sun, relax at the Inn by the Sea, an exclusive beachfront resort offering the ultimate in luxury for pets and their owners.

You and your dog will love exploring Nantucket together. This small island off the coast of Cape Cod has a few lighthouses and plenty of New England charm. As soon as you get on the boat, you’ll see dozens of pet owners with them, and it’s clear that Nantucket is a dog-friendly place. There are plenty of dog-friendly activities to choose from, from walking the Sconcet Bluff Walk to exploring historic lighthouses. There are plenty of dog-friendly patios in town, including breakfast favorite Black-Eyed Susan and eclectic American bistro Queequeg’s. Come in and stay a while at the Brass Lantern Inn, a quiet bed and breakfast. In some rooms we welcome four-legged friends for a small fee.

This very dog-friendly town in northeastern Vermont is a must-visit. Known as the ski capital of the East, Stowe attracts domestic and international visitors to its world-class resorts each winter. But Stowe, with its abundance of outdoor activities no matter the season, is a great place to visit with your dog.

Perfect for great hikes, Smugglers Notch State Park offers miles of trails in the stunning scenery of the Green Mountains. For something a little more low-key (but just as fun), you’ll love taking your dog for a walk along the Stowe Recreational Trail. This 11-mile paved trail features dog-friendly restaurants and breweries along the way. There are also many dog-friendly accommodations in the area, depending on your budget. Luxury resorts like Trapp Family Lodge, Topnotch Resort, and Lodge at Spruce Peak offer luxurious accommodations. However, if you’re looking for affordable accommodation, consider staying with your dog at the Field Guide Lodge or the Stouhof.
