Travel With Your Fur Buddies On These Pet Friendly Airlines
Burlington, Vermont is one of New England’s most dog-friendly destinations. With incredible outdoor adventures and a hip, urban haven, Burlington is as much a playground for dogs as it is for their companions. You will find lots of fun things to do with your puppy. Ride the Burlington Greenway along the shores of Lake Champlain, then stop for local beer samples at one of the city’s many dog-friendly breweries. Burlington beer spots that have patio doggies include Foam Brewers and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery, while places like Switchback Brewing Co also allow pets. Church Street Marketplace, one of New England’s most popular pedestrian (and dog-friendly) malls, features extensive dog-friendly dining and shopping. Designed as a pet-friendly guesthouse, the Vermont Inn, a quaint B&B within walking distance of town, offers a comfortable home away from home for you and your dog.
When the dog days of summer are upon us, there is no better place to be with your pooch than Cape Cod. With miles of pristine coastline, irresistible storage charm, and countless outdoor activities, Cape Cod is the perfect summer destination for people and dogs alike. You especially like to visit Cape Cod National Seashore. This sun-kissed stretch of sandy beaches and trails allows dogs off leash even during peak season. Then quench your thirst at Province Brewing Company. They are so dog friendly (socially aware), there is a dog house in the beer garden that says “racists bite me”. There are also some friendly places to stay on the Cape. Pamper your dog at the luxurious Chatham Bars Inn or try to “hit it off” with your dog at the Nickerson State Park Campground.

Of course, you can’t visit Maine without trying the local lobster, and the Bite in Maine truck has pet-friendly picnic tables in the gardens. Higgins Beach is a popular place for little ones to frolic on the sand and splash in the water. After a long time in the sun, in a tavern by the sea, you can enjoy the luxury of the coast, which offers its owners extreme luxury and opulence.

You and your dog will love exploring Nantucket together. This tiny island off the coast of Cape Cod has almost no traffic lights and an abundance of New England charm. It’s an 11-mile stretch with dog-friendly restaurants and breweries along the way. There are also dog-friendly places in the area for every budget. Enjoy luxury resorts like Trapp Family Resort, Topnotch Resort, and the creature comforts of Stay at Spruce Peak. This resort has everything you need for the perfect vacation without ever leaving its sprawling 700 acres. Choose from a wide range of activities that are fun for the whole family, from land to lake. The pool and guesthouse are pet-free areas, but dogs have their own designated swimming area, Fanny’s Beach. We were even able to rent a boat to go out on the lake with Roscoe. In addition, you can eat at one of the resort’s five restaurants. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room, but they will eat with you in a regular seat at Red Mill. Dog walking and dog sitting services are also available if you want to have fun without Fido.

Fantastic Destinations For Dog Friendly Vacations On The East Coast In 2024
Field Guide Stay at Stowe’s elegant boutique hotel managed by Lark Hotels. Like most of their properties, the pet policy allows dogs under 70 pounds for an additional fee of $50 per dog per day. We stayed in one of their three dog-friendly Cottage Suites, which have beautiful grounds and a private outside entrance. You can register for these costumes online, just make sure to include your dog’s size, size and name. Dogs cannot be left alone in the inn. Out of respect for other guests, dogs are only allowed on a leash in the hotel lobby and outside common areas.
