Whether it’s winter or summer, one of the best things to do in Jasper is to enjoy a fireplace in the mountains. There aren’t many Jasper cabins for rent, but Jasper Cabins is furnished like a bedroom. We went down to Jasper’s cabin that we rented downstairs.

Bear Hill Lodge is the only cabin in Jasper that is actually in town and within walking distance to all of Jasper’s great restaurants and central attractions (this is a must because parking in Jasper is free). They have a variety of cabin types available for all types of guests. Some for small groups, some for large groups.

If you’re looking for great lodging in Jasper National Park, you should check out Tekara Lodge. Jasper’s cottage is just across the road from Yellowhead, very nice and quiet. This is the perfect place to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains.
Although these jasper bars don’t have TVs, they are equipped with pots, pans, plates, utensils and everything else you need to cook a full meal. Bonus: The cabin has a nice fireplace.

Lake Patricia is one of my favorite places in Jasper and living on the lake is a dream. It’s a great place to go in summer and winter, but it’s also a great place to stay. Standing at the foot of Pyramid Mountain, you can stay at the Patricia Lake Bungalow, enjoy the surrounding mountains and sip coffee away from the lake.
Top Pet Friendly Rentals In Jasper
They have been working since 1966 and have a great reputation in the garden. Lake Patricia is close to Jasper town for everything you need and close enough to enjoy the tranquility of the mountains (you will need a car if you stay here).
The hotels have indoor cafes, fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, TVs and gas fireplaces. Other property amenities include a playground and family playground, barbecue area, 10-person lake view hot tub, boat launch, outdoor pool, indoor games, library and free DVD movies. Lake Patricia is always available for summer swimming, snorkeling and kayaking.
Jasper East Cabins is located on the edge of Jasper National Park, about 35 minutes from downtown Jasper. Although they are out of town, they are close to Miette Hot Springs and Jasper Hinton Airline.
At Jasper East Cabins, guests are provided with comfortable cabins with fireplaces, kitchens and private bathrooms. The cottage is very comfortable and the site also offers volleyball, tennis, badminton and croquet. If you are looking for a beautiful out of town Jasper cottage, this is for you.

Adjacent to Jasper East Cabins is Overlander Mountain Lodge Cabins, which offers guests the best chalets in Jasper. Offering kitchens, fireplaces, and comfortable beds, these cozy cabins are nestled in nature. It is ideal for groups as it offers apartments suitable for up to 8 people, most of which have a nice deck to enjoy a barbecue in the summer.
Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is a great place to stay in Jasper. We enjoyed their lake view room for three nights and had a great time. The Fairmont is located on Bovert Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes I have seen in Jasper.
The Fairmont is comfortable and spacious. This is not your typical hotel, but there are plenty of booths so you can easily isolate yourself from the other guests. There is a heated pool to enjoy in winter and summer. They also have a marina where you can rent kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards.
There are several Jasper restaurants on site and they are all delicious! Be sure to check out Orso Trattoria for a great night out. Jasper Park Lodge is the best pet-friendly option on this list, although they charge $50 per pet, which is quite expensive. Although they do make dog beds, water bowls and special treats for dogs!
State Parks With Pet Friendly Cabins And Cottages
Pyramid Lake Resort is another great property in Jasper. Sitting on Pyramid Lake, the park’s location is impossible to miss. It has 62 guest rooms in Alpine style. This resort is only 6 km from the city but is close to Pyramid Lake and Pyramid Island.
In the summer, that means you’re miles away from swimming at Pyramid Lake, and in the winter, that means you’re miles away from the ice rink across the lake. No matter the season, there’s no shortage of work to do in Jasper.
All rooms have gas fireplaces and most have lake decks. Here you can find one of the most romantic restaurants in Jasper, Alto.
Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge is located in Sunwapta Falls, about 40 minutes from the town of Jasper. If you want to stay on the Icefields Parkway, this is a cute and cozy little Jasper cabin with easy access to downtown Jasper. The rooms are romantic with fireplace, kitchen and free fireplace. If you choose not to invest too much in eating, there is also a restaurant on site.
