We want you and your dog to have a fun and stress-free day. We also want to protect farm animals and valuable wildlife habitat, and make sure everyone can enjoy the outdoors, whether they have a dog or not. That’s why we’ve partnered with natural food company Forthglade to create Code Dog.

Using a short lead will help prevent your dog from disturbing birds and farm animals. A short wire should be used around the sheep. However, if the bull approaches you, it is best to lure your dog out of the way and call him as much as possible.

Please always clean up after your dog. If you can’t find a trash can nearby, take a poop bag with you.
Look for local signs and messages wherever you go. They will tell you that the beach is off-limits to dogs, for example, that there is a detour or that you are in an area where dogs can escape.
Remember, not everyone likes dogs and some people are afraid of them. So keep your dog away from other people, especially children.
We’ve partnered with Forthglade to create a new Footprint rating system that shows your dog’s homes in the areas we care for.

Check the visitor information tab on the website of the institution you wish to visit to find out what our institution has to offer.
Note that all Footprint-rated locations accept dogs, but the number of kennels varies, with Footprint 3 being awarded to the locations with the best dog kennels.
Three trails show the best places to visit during the day with your dog. You can bring your dog in many places, including at home for tea and food. Dog areas and dog experiences are clearly signed.
These areas include water bowls, dog bowls, and dog walks. You can bring your dog in some places, but not all. If food and drinks are available, you can have tea with them, perhaps outside.
